1. Animal Nutrition 🐄
Ruminants
Animals with 4-compartment stomachs (Rumen, Reticulum, Omasum, Abomasum).
Ex: Cattle, Carabao, Goat, Sheep.
Non-Ruminants (Monogastric)
Simple stomach. Cannot digest fiber well.
Ex: Swine, Poultry.
2. Breeding Systems 🧬
- Inbreeding: Mating closely related animals (fix traits, but risk defects).
- Outbreeding: Mating unrelated animals.
- Crossbreeding: Mating different breeds (Heterosis/Hybrid Vigor).
- Artificial Insemination (AI): Using semen from superior sires.
