Cavity Management
Decayed tissue is removed and the cavity restored. Cavities are classified by G.V. Black’s classes (I–V) based on location.

Class I = pits/fissures; Class II = posterior proximal; Class III/IV = anterior proximal; Class V = cervical.

Endodontics (Root Canal)
When decay reaches the pulp, root canal therapy removes infected pulp, cleans the canals, and seals them — saving the tooth.
