1. Living and Non-living Things
What are Living Things?
Living things are things that are alive. They can grow, move, eat, breathe, and have babies!
Living Things Can:
- ðą Grow - Get bigger
- ð Move - Walk, run, fly, swim
- ð―ïļ Eat - Need food and water
- ðĻ Breathe - Need air
- ðķ Reproduce - Have babies
Examples:
What are Non-living Things?
Non-living things are things that are not alive. They cannot grow, eat, or breathe by themselves.
Non-living Things:
- â Cannot grow
- â Cannot move by themselves
- â Do not need food or water
- â Do not breathe
Examples:
Remember: Living things need food, water, and air to stay alive. Non-living things do not need these!
