About Grade 1
Grade 1 is the foundation of formal elementary education in the Philippines. Students are typically 6-7 years old and begin learning fundamental concepts in Mathematics, English, Filipino, and Science through the Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) approach.
